The Church of the Resurrection, St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 200 Tuckahoe Road, Marmora.
St. Maximilian Kolbe’s Parish/Community Center has been seven years in the planning. The building project was foreseen by parish leadership to respond to the current and future needs of the parish.
Monsignor Joyce stated, “Our Parish/Community Center is intended to be much more than a building and rooms in which we will gather. It is a way for us to make an investment in the life and future of our parish and its people.”
The center will include:
An all-purpose room to provide a place for parishioners and members of the community to gather.
Two smaller meeting rooms will provide additional space for parishioners to participate in parish ministries.
The rectory offices will be relocated to the parish center to provide better access for parishioners and members of the community who seek the services of the parish personnel.
The kitchen will be at the service of these parish and community events.
