Water Main Break Prompts Call to Police

COURT HOUSE — A concerned citizen contacted Middle Township Police regarding a water main break around 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28 after he became concerned the water department was not responding quickly to his initial call about an hour before he contacted police.
The caller reported the water was causing damage to the roadway in the area of Route 9 and CR-615 (Mechanic Street) according to radio reports.
Middle Township Police responded to the scene and contacted the Department of Transportation to repair the damaged roadway.
