By Herald Staff

STONE HARBOR – Two people received minor injuries in a construction accident Dec. 3. At approximately 4:20 p.m., a framing wall came down at a building site on 105th Street and beach, confirmed Sgt. Steve Schuck of the Stone Harbor Police Department.
A construction worker on scene explained what happened. “A bolt sheared off that was being picked by a forklift,” he said. “The guys were picking up the other end of the wall when it fell and bounced off me.” One of the workers refused medical treatment. The other went to the hospital where, according to the worker who wished to remain anonymous, “he’ll probably get a couple of stitches.”
