Vehicle Strikes Utility Pole in Lower Twp

ERMA – A motor vehicle accident occurred on Breakwater Road around 11 a.m. Tues., Oct. 18.
The vehicle hit a utility pole, resulting in a snapped, broken electric line and a snapped utility pole. The Erma Fire Department was called due to a live electric line and to secure the battery in the vehicle.
The driver refused medical treatment by Lower Rescue.
The driver of the vehicle was given a ticket for careless driving and talking on a cell phone while driving.
