Vehicle Hits Pole in Beesley’s Point, Driver Airlifted

BEESLEY’S POINT— A driver was airlifted to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City following collision with a utility pole here on Golden Oak Lane on Thursday, Aug 20 at 5:58 p.m.
The flight crew reported the patient to be a 61 year-old female with a possible closed head injury.
The Upper Township Rescue Squad, Medic 8 and the Marmora Fire Department responded to the scene with troopers from the Woodbine station.
The accident is under investigation.
