UPDATE: State Police Charge Driver with DWI in Sea Isle Blvd Crash

OCEAN VIEW- Two people were injured in a two vehicle crash that left one vehicle overturned here on Sea Isle Boulevard at 10:17 p.m., on Saturday, July 18.
According to state police, Alicia Pickul of Hammonton was driving a Honda Accord westbound on Sea Isle Boulevard when she allegedly hit a Isuzu Rodeo driven by Alexa Zauck from behind that was traveling in the same direction. The Rodeo then crossed into the eastbound lane overturning into the woods entrapping Zauck and a passenger Tracey Ruffino.
Ocean View and Dennis Fire Departments were dispatched to extricate the occupants that were trapped.
Zauck was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center by Sea Isle Ambulance Corps for minor injuries. Ruffino was airlifted to Cooper University Trauma Center in Camden by South Star medevac where she is listed in critical but stable condition.
Pickul was charged with driving while intoxicated and assault by automobile.
The accident is currently under investigation by Trooper Carney of the Woodbine station.
