UPDATE: One Ejected, Two Airlifted in Parkway Accident

MARMORA– Two people were airlifted to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center’s trauma unit in Atlantic City by South Star and Medevac 5, helicopters following a one car crash here on the Garden State Parkway at mile post 24.2 north bound.
The crash occurred at 2:44 p.m. on Friday, May 22.
Troy Webber, 18, of Folsom, Pa., was driving north on the parkway at 2:44 p.m. when his car left the road for unknown reason, according to State Police. The Front-seat passenger Matt Mariotti, 16, was airlifted to Atlantic City, with the rear-seat passenger Tim Sweeny, 16, of Ridley Park, Pa. Sweeny was ejected through the rear window 25 feet into the woods and had to be cut out of the brush by firefighters, Sweeny is reported to have a possible skull fracture, according to reports.
Webber was treated on scene and declined further treatment.
The accident is under investigation by troopers at the Bass River station, and Troop “A” fatal accident investigation unit.
