Toppled Tree Damages Parked Vehicle in Rio Grande

RIO GRANDE – Due to high winds, a tree was toppled and damaged a parked vehicle and several residences around 6:30 p.m. on October 28.
The incident occurred on Hirst Avenue, a cross street between 2nd and 3rd Streets behind Pet Smart.
There were no apparent injuries.
A high wind warning is still in effect until 3 a.m. Wednesday.
