Sea Isle City Man Charged with DUI After Fulling Mill Road Crash

RIO GRANDE — The driver of a pick-up truck struck a utility pole and left the scene of an accident on Fulling Mill Road near Menz restaurant, on Dec 25, according to Middle Township Police.
The truck was located some distance from the scene of the crash behind the Villas library where the driver was stopped by Lower Township Police. The driver Joseph Hamilton, 21, of Sea Isle City was charged with driving under the influence, according to police.
The crash caused a power outage in the Villas while crews work to repair a utility pole on Saturday morning.
According to Atlantic City Electric, the outage affected between 1000 and 5000 customers.
