GOSHEN- Goshen Fire Department and Middle Township Ambulance Corps responded to Route 47 just south of Reeds Beach Road around 10:30 p.m. on Sept 15.
A white pickup truck heading south crossed into the north bound lane continuing off the road hitting a utility pole, snapping the pole in half. The truck came to rest on the lawn of a home.
The accident caused live power lines to be down.
According to the fire department, the driver was taken to Cape Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Both lanes of Route 47 was reported passable to traffic in spite of the accident.
The accident is under investigation by Middle Township Police.
