Police Need Public’s Help to ID Hit-Run Driver

The following is based on information received from a law enforcement agency.
SEA ISLE CITY – The Sea Isle City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a driver wanted for questioning regarding a hit-and-run crash with a pedestrian that occurred between 2:45 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Sept. 1 in the area of 78th and Landis Avenue. 
According to a release, the pedestrian sustained serious bodily injury as a result of this crash.  
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information into the identity of the driver is urged to contact the Sea Isle City Detective Bureau at 609-263-4311. 
Police are also asking that any homeowners who may have security footage facing Landis Avenue in the areas between 70th and 85th Street to contact the Sea Isle City Detective Bureau. 
Callers can also submit anonymous tips via Cape May County Sheriff’s Department Tip Line at 847411(TIP411) from their cellular device.
