Plane Crashes, Pilot Hospitalized

GREEN CREEK – Middle Township police responded to an aircraft crash Aug. 20 at about 1:46 p.m. in Green Creek.
The preliminary investigation revealed that an aircraft from Paramount Air Service was circling to land when the aircraft lost power. It crashed in the marsh area near Paramount Air Service private airfield. Paramount’s planes tow advertising banners.
The 20-year-old pilot, unidentified in the police release, sustained lacerations to his head and was transported to the hospital for treatment. The investigation was ongoing.
