Pilot Unhurt as Small Plane Lands on Ocean City Beach

Cessna's pilot was unhurt after making an emergency landing on an Ocean City beach June. 1.

OCEAN CITY – At approximately 8:35 a.m. June 1, a small single-engine Cessna plane made a successful emergency landing on an empty beach in the area of 49th Street in Ocean City.
The plane was occupied/piloted by one person who was uninjured. The plane sustained minor damage.
The Ocean City Police Department is on the scene awaiting investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The plane will be removed from the beach once the scene is cleared by the FAA. The investigation is ongoing.
