Pedestrian Struck on Route 50

CORBIN CITY– A pedestrian was struck by a car near the Corbin City Baptist Church on Route 50 at 7:50 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 29.
The Upper Township Rescue Squad, Medic 8 and the Tuckahoe Fire Department responded to the scene.
Firefighters shut down a section of Route 50 while troopers investigated.
South Star Medevac was requested to transport the victim to Atlanticare Regional Trauma Center in Atlantic City. The flight crew reported the patient to be in stable condition.
The accident is under investigation by state troopers at the Buena Vista station.
