No Injuries in Burleigh Crash

BURLEIGH – Middle Township Police Department responded to a three-car motor vehicle crash at the intersection of US 9 and Indian Trail Road July 1 at 12:02 p.m.
A Chevy HHR driven by Janet Smith, 64, of Pennsville was traveling north on US 9, when a Ford Mustang driven by Carol Porter, 63, of Woodbine was traveling east on Indian Trail, when she struck the HHR. The HHR then rotated into a Hyundai Elantra operated by Kristie Jackson, 46, of Wildwood Crest. Jackson was waiting for the red light westbound on SH 147.
There were no injuries in the crash. The mustang was in a funeral procession when it went through the red light and caused the crash.
