Man Airlifted From Dennis Township Crash Released From Hospital

DENNIS TOWNSHIP — Court House firefighters were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle crash with reported entrapment on Tue. Oct. 26., at around 9:20 a.m.
The crash that was just over the Middle Township line in Dennis Township involved one pick-up truck and an SUV which was towing a boat trailer. One vehicle was reported to be into a utility pole.
Police said Albert Unruh, 71, of Dennis Township, was driving his Ford F-250 heading northbound on Route 9 when he swerved into the southbound lane, striking a red 2006 Lincoln pickup truck driven by Michael Hastings, 43, of Middletown, Delaware.
Hastings was airlifted from the scene by MedEvac 5 and transported to the trauma unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. He has since been released a hospital nursing supervisor said.
