Man Airlifted After Being Hit By Car in Wildwood

WILDWOOD– A pedestrian was struck shortly before 4. p.m., on Sunday, May 30 Wildwood police confirmed.
Police said the man whose identity is not yet being released was struck by a car at 26th Street and New Jersey Avenue.
The Wildwood Fire Department transported the man to the Cape May Armory in Court House where he was transfered to South Star medevac.
The man was then airlifted to the trauma unit at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. The flight crew reported the man was in stable condition.
