Lower Township Crash Sends Two to Hospitals

COLD SPRING – A two-vehicle crash shortly before 2 p.m. Oct. 11 on Ferry Road by Shunpike Road sent two victims to the hospital. Lower Township police are investigating the crash.
On vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage. A person from that vehicle was evaluated and transported to a medevac helicopter from Cape May County Airport.
The second vehicle continued about a quarter mile west on the highway until it stopped. A person in that vehicle was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center by Lower Township Rescue Squad.
