Corbin City Crash Knocks Out Power to Over 350; Two Injured

CORBIN CITY– A two vehicle crash on Route 50 and Ocean Road caused a power outage to 372 Atlantic City Electric customers Friday afternoon.
One vehicle hit a utility pole shearing the pole in two, causing wires to come down onto the roadway.
Upper Township Rescue Squad and Tuckahoe Fire Department responded to the scene with state police from Buena station.
Marmora Fire Department, fire police units were requested to the scene to assist in diverting traffic while crews worked to restore power.
Two patients were transported to Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point.
The crash is under investigation.
