Coast Guard Searches for Missing Kitesurfer off Ocean City

OCEAN CITY – The Coast Guard was searching for a missing kite surfer near Ocean City on the evening of Nov. 28.
According to a release, Coast Guard Station Atlantic City watchstanders received a call from 911, notifying them of a kitesurfer, reportedly wearing all black, seen drifting out to sea after falling off a kiteboard approximately 500-yards off Corson’s Inlet, at around 3:20 p.m. 
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay launched an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew from Air Station Atlantic City, a Station Atlantic City 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew, and a Station Cape May 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew to search for the missing person.
