CG Crew Saves Six 50 Miles off Coast

CAPE MAY — The Coast Guard rescued six people Saturday, Nov. 15 aboard a disabled 55-foot boat 50 miles off the coast from this city.
The Coast Guard received a call at 2 p.m. from a crewmember aboard the William Lee that reproted they were having engine trouble and needed assistance.
The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Legare, home ported in Portsmouth, Va., arrived on scene and is towing the boat and crew to Delaware Bay.
