UPPER FREEHOLD – A Cape May man died from injuries he suffered in a crash on Route 539 at 8:35 p.m. July 1, NJ.com reports.
Tito Correnti, 86, was driving south on the road when his car went off the right side of the road near New Street and struck a tree and utility pole.
Correnti was pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University at Hamilton shortly after the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, the report continued.
