Bicycle Struck By Auto in Wildwood; Passenger Injured

WILDWOOD — A teen was riding on the handlebars of a bicycle when it was struck by a vehicle shortly before 1 p.m., at the intersection of Atlantic and E. Garfield avenues on Fri., June 25.
The unidentified, 19-year-old female was airlifted to the trauma unit at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City by South Star medevac.
The flight crew reported that the victim was thrown over the hood of the car. She was reported to be in stable condition.
The crash is under investigation by Wildwood police.
