Surfers at Cape May’s Cove and Broadway beach had a post-tropical storm Hermine wave feast Sept. 4. As the Labor Day weekend wound down, and many had departed early due to Hermine’s threat, usual crowds were smaller than expected. Rip currents, caused by the storm, were also a facet of the departing storm.
