WILLIAM, Sr.
It is with great sadness the family of William (Bud) Monaghan Sr. announces his sudden passing on Saturday November 1, 2025 at home.
He was born November 25, 1944 in Philadelphia to Francis J. Monaghan Sr. (dec.) and Anetta (Farro) Monaghan Tulewicz (dec.), also predeceased by his only brother Francis Monaghan Jr. He attended Bishop Neumann High School and Triton High School in Runnemede NJ. In December of 1965 he enlisted in the US Army and was deployed to Vietnam as a medic. Upon his return to the US he completed his service time at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington DC.
In1968 he was employed by the US Postal Service Sectional Center in Bellmawr where he worked for over 30 years.
Upon his retirement in 2001 he relocated to North Wildwood and was a member of St. Ann Church in Wildwood, AOH Cape May Co Div 1, and North Wildwood Elks 1896 for many years.
Bud was the beloved husband of Marion Monaghan for over 55 years. Loving father of William (Bud) Monaghan Jr. and Kevin (Angela) Monaghan, proud grandfather to William (Buddy) Monaghan III and Sean Monaghan, their mother Elizabeth Monaghan, and sister in law Andrea Monaghan. Also survived by nephews, cousins and their families.
His greatest joy in life was his family. He lived his life with Honor, Respect, Pride and Love, “A Life Well Lived”.
