Middle Police Seek Information on Goat Killing

COURT HOUSE – Police were called to a Shunpike Road property after a goat was discovered dead and mutilated the morning after Halloween.

The Middle Township Police Department responded to the call Friday, Nov. 1, after the goat was discovered. According to an announcement by the department, the incident occurred sometime overnight on Thursday, Oct. 31. Police are investigating the matter as an act of animal cruelty.

No further information was available.

Police are uncertain whether the suspect or suspects were on foot or used a vehicle. An investigation is currently being conducted by the Middle Township Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit.
