Marmora Man Dies in Route 9 Crash

SEAVILLE – A Marmora man was killed, Aug. 25, when the Jeep he was operating impacted the rear of another car.

Brian K. Dunleavy, 52, was traveling north on Route 9, in Upper Township, when he collided with a Toyota around 5:32 p.m. at milepost 23.1.

The Jeep overturned, causing Dunleavy to be ejected and sustain fatal injuries. Seaville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company and Upper Township EMS responded to the scene.

According to New Jersey State Police Detective Jeffrey Lebron, the crash remains under investigation.
