MALLEN, ELLEN S. Ellen S. Mallen, aged 83, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023. Born on October 15, 1940, in Camden, NJ, Ellen spent 30 fulfilling years of her life in Cape May Court House following her time in Collingswood. She served diligently as an Investigator for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. A lover of life's simple pleasures, Ellen relished in antique hunting, cherishing animals, and expressing her creativity through painting and crafts. Shopping trips were among her most cherished outings, infused with her signature enthusiasm. She is survived by her brother, Robert Ingram; sisters, Jean Conti and Donna Pallante; grandchildren, Danielle Steen, Justin Steen, Krystal Merrifield, and Michael Conley; and her two precious great-grandchildren. Ellen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth Mallen, and her dear sons, Kevin and Keith Steen. Her vibrant spirit and kind heart will be profoundly missed by her family, including many nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Seaville United Methodist Cemetery, 3100 Shore Road, Ocean View, NJ 08230.
