Wins from the Weekend: Feb. 10-12

In Saturday boys basketball action, Cape May Tech hosted Bridgeton and won, 57-44. Josh Wright scored 18 points for the hosts with Jack O’Donnell adding 16 points.
In Sunday action, the Middle Township boys earned a nice 78-45 win over Medford Tech at the Paul VI Winter Classic. Jalen Freeman led the Panthers with 25 points and Coley Holton added 17 points.
The Wildwood Catholic boys won 62-46 over Winslow Township. Caleb Fields led the game with 34 points for the Crusaders.
In Monday night action, the Lower Cape May boys won 65-58 on the road at Cedar Creek. Pat Holden and Martin Anguelov led the Caper Tigers with 27 and 20 points, respectively.
The Middle Township girls and boys basketball teams swept county rival Cape May Tech. The Panther girls won on the road, 43-15, with Kira Sides leading the team with 18 points. The Panther boys won 57-38 at home with Jalen Freeman leading the pack with 16 points and Mack Selby adding 13 points. Josh Wright led the visiting Hawks with 16 points.
The Ocean City girls and boys basketball teams hosted county rival Wildwood in a double header on Monday. The Red Raiders swept both games: the girls won 50-33 and the boys won 67-56. On the girls side, Savannah Holt led the hosts with ten points. Maddie McCracken led the visiting Warriors with 23 points. For the boys, Luke Varallo scored 20 points for the hosts. Kyion Flanders had 20 points for the visiting Warriors.
In the state girls swimming playoffs, Ocean City hosted Shawnee in the South Jersey Group B semifinal on Monday and won, 91-79. They will move on to the group finals against top-ranked Moorestown on Feb. 15.
