Wildwood Crest Gymnastics/Dance Program
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department is hosting its fall dance/gymnastics program for children in grades pre-K through 6 on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons beginning Oct. 8. The program is designed to teach the fundamentals of dance and gymnastics routines. The eight-week program is instructed by Lisa Kobierowski. Class times are as follows: Tuesdays – Pre-K and K, 3:30 p.m.; grades 5-6, 4:30 p.m.; Thursdays – grades 1-2, 3:30 p.m.; grades 3-4, 5 p.m. Registration forms are available at Crest Pier. Cost is $50 per child.

Zumba Fitness Classes
The Wildwood Crest Pier Recreation Center hosts Zumba classes for ages 15 through adult each Saturday morning at 9 a.m. in the Crest Pier gymnasium. Zumba classes will also be offered Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at the Crest Pier beginning Oct. 21. Cost is $5 per class or a punch card good for any 12 Crest Pier fitness classes can be purchased for $50. Adult Yoga Classes
The Crest Pier Recreation Center will host adult yoga classes on Tuesdays at 10:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 15. Cost is $5 per class or a punch card good for any 12 Crest Pier fitness classes can be purchased for $50. Call 523-0202 for further information.
Bokwa Dance Fitness Classes
The Crest Pier Recreation Center will host Bokwa dance classes for adults each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 9. Bokwa is a new group exercise in which participants draw letters and numbers with their feet while performing an energizing cardio workout routine. The class is synchronized to pop and dance music.

Fit Seniors Exercise Classes
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will host its Fit Seniors Exercise program each Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Crest Pier beginning Oct. 8. The program features light aerobic, strength and agility exercises tailored for men and women ages 60 and older. The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department is currently offering aqua flow workout (water aerobics) classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9:30 a.m. at the Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool at 8800 New Jersey Avenue. Cost is $5 per class. A punch card good for any 20 water fitness classes can be purchased for $75. No pre-registration is necessary. Crest Recreation Pool Party Oct. 19

Crest Recreation Adult Wiffle Ball League
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department is currently accepting registration for its fourth annual Adult Wiffle Ball League. Games will be played Wednesday evenings beginning in late October. Players must be age 28 and older, no exceptions. Call 523-0202 for registration information.
Halloween season Trunk or Treat family event is Oct. 30
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will hosts its annual Halloween season Trunk or Treat family event on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Crest Pier. Adults will decorate their vehicles for Halloween and distribute candy to children in costume from the trunks of their vehicles. Prizes will be awarded to the best-decorated vehicles. Event includes food, DJ entertainment, magic show and more. The event is free for adults and children, but decorated automobiles must be pre-registered. Registration forms are available at the Crest Pier Recreation Center.

Adult Cards
The Crest Pier Recreation Center hosts an adult cards program each Wednesday at 10 a.m. The program is free. No pre-registration is necessary.
Adult Mahjong
The Crest Pier Recreation Center hosts adult mahjong games each Monday and Friday at noon. The program is free. No pre-registration is necessary.
Pier Walking
The Wildwood Crest Pier Recreation Center is open for walkers Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Twelve laps around the inside perimeter of the recreation center equal one mile.
Crest Pier Open Recreation Schedule
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department has announced its open recreation schedule for the month of October at the Crest Pier. The schedule is as follows:
Monday: 3-6 p.m. – grades 1-8; 6-9 p.m. – high school and adult.
Tuesday: 6-9 p.m. – high school and adult.
Wednesday: 3-6 p.m. – grades 1-8; 6-9 p.m. – high school and adult (no open rec after 6 p.m. once adult Wiffle ball.
Thursday: 6:30-9 p.m. – high school and adult.
Friday: 3-6 p.m. – grades 1-8.
Saturday: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. – grades 1-8; 2-5 p.m. – high school and adult (island residents only).
