CAPE MAY — Surfers catch a wave at Cove Beach near the Third Avenue Jetty in Cape May on Saturday.
North of here, in Avalon, also on Saturday, many who love to surf took part in the Brendan Borek Surf Memorial, a classic that annually brings thousands to the beach to help remember Borek, a cancer victim, and raise funds for the High Tides Memorial Fund, named in his memory.
See Wednesday’s print edition for more on the Borek event.
