North Wildwood Hosts 44th Around the Island Row

Cape May Beach Patrol's John Knies and Robert Moran lead the race pack all during the first half of the contest and finished eighth overall with time of 2 hours 46 minutes 54 seconds.

NORTH WILDWOOD – The 44th Around the Island Row, hosted by the North Wildwood Beach Patrol, took place Aug. 13.
This year’s race honored former North Wildwood City Councilman Bud Tarbotton who founded the 20- mile counter-clockwise “doubles crew” race around the Wildwoods’ Island, ending at 15th Avenue and the beach.
