Lacrosse Wins from April 26-30

Boys Lacrosse:
Ocean City ended St. Augustine Prep’s long undefeated Cape-Atlantic League record on April 26 with a 11-10 overtime victory. The visiting Red Raiders were led by Noam Levy-Smith with three goals. Charlie Dahl made eleven saves in net for the win.
Lower Cape May faced rival Middle Township on the road and won, 17-2, on April 27. Chuckie Magill led the visitors with six goals while Chase Mendyk, Trey McGrail and Branden Smith each added three goals for the Caper Tigers. Ryan Nagle and Logan Osmundson each tallied for the hosts with Miguel Abarca making 19 saves in net for the Panthers.
Ocean City won 14-2 on April 28 against Cherry Hill East. Trent Laveson and Noam Levy-Smith scored hat tricks for the hosts with four others tallying two goals each. Charlie Dahl made nine saves for the Red Raiders.
Girls Lacrosse:
Middle Township took the short trip down the parkway to take on rival Lower Cape May and won, 13-5, on April 27. Maddie Barber and Kira Sides each led the Panthers with five goals. Maya Critchfield scored four goals for the Caper Tigers. Mel Amador made 22 saves in net for the hosts.
In Lower Cape May’s 20-10 victory over Absegami on April 28, Marissa Giancola scored her 100th career goal for the Caper Tigers. Goalie Mel Amador recorded her 400th career save in the win.
Ocean City bounced back from their tough loss against Moorestown last week to win three in a row. The Red Raiders won 13-12 in overtime against Shawnee on April 25. They won April 27 against rival Mainland Regional, 13-4. On April 30, the Red Raiders blanked O.L.M.A., 16-0, on their senior night.
