ERMA – Lower Cape May senior Pat Holden became the all-time leading scorer in school history for boys basketball in Jan. 18’s home game against Cedar Creek.
The milestone came in the first quarter off a three-point shot to surpass 2005 graduate Charles Johnson’s record of 1,666 career points.
Holden currently has 1,687 points for his career.
Holden led the Caper Tigers to a 76-50 victory over the visiting Pirates by scoring a game-high 25 points and assisting 11 times. Martin Anguelov had 20 points while Khamar Matthews added 13 and Zach Cerasi added 11 points in the win.
Lower Cape May will play Collingswood at Millville High School on Jan. 20 and return home on Jan. 22 to play St. Joseph at 7 p.m.
