High School Scores: Crusaders Top Warriors in Soccer

In Sept. 29 girls’ soccer, Middle defeated ACIT, 4-1. Jenn McCann, Summer Sides, Emma Stanford and Bridget Ruskey scored.
Wildwood stopped Bridgeton, 6-0. Mackenzie McCracken scored three goals.
BCIT downed Cape Tech, 5-1. Julie McNulty scored.
In boys’ soccer, EHT defeated OC, 1-0.
Middle outscored ACIT, 5-0. Brendan Forest scored two goals.
In field hockey, Mainland shut down OC, 6-0.
Middle toppled Cedar Creek, 10-1. Jenna Herlihy scored five goals.
In Sept. 30 boys’ soccer, Clayton edged Wildwood, 6-5. Jared Irwin scored three goals.
In Oct. 1 girls’ soccer, OC knotted Millville, 1-1. Devon Terwilliger scored.
Wildwood defeated Camden County Tech, 4-1. Mackenzie McCracken and Jillian Freeman scored two goals each.
Lower topped ACIT, 4-0. Madie Gibson scored four goals.
Middle shut out St. Joseph’s, 3-0. Summer Sides scored twice. Rachel Wade scored.
Wildwood Catholic defeated Buena, 4-1. Olivia Rulon scored twice.
Holy Spirit defeated Cape Tech, 6-0.
In boys’ soccer, Buena defeated Catholic, 1-0, in overtime.
Middle shut out St. Joseph’s, 4-0. Brendan Forrest scored two goals.
Wildwood defeated Camden Tech, 6-1. Jared Irwin scored three goals.
In field hockey, Middle defeated Atlantic City, 2-0. Jenna Herlihy scored twice.
EHT shut down Lower, 4-0.
In Oct. 3 football, Holy Spirit defeated Middle, 35-7. Joe Durso hit Jimmy Versage for a touchdown.
New Egypt defeated Wildwood, 51-18. Abdiel Richards ran 83 and 50 yards, respectively, for Warrior touchdowns.
Lower topped Pleasantville, 14-13.
In girls’ soccer, Middle topped Buena, 2-1. Abby Stahler and Bridget Ruskey scored.
St. Joseph’s defeated Cape Tech, 7-0.
Wildwood Catholic defeated Wildwood, 3-1. Gabby Johnson Becky Andress and Olivia Rulon scored. Mackenzie McCracken scored for the Warriors.
In field hockey, St. Joseph’s edged Lower, 2-1. Olivia Levin scored.
Middle stuffed Buena, 14-0. Mackenzie Oliver scored four goals.
OC ripped EHT, 6-0. Lauren McNally scored two goals.
In boys’ soccer, OC defeated Oakcrest, 2-0. Donny Van Meter and Ryan Beebe scored.
Cape Tech knotted St. Joseph’s, 1-1. Jake Rutledge scored.
Wildwood Catholic shut out Wildwood, 6-0. Pat McGann scored three goals.
Middle edged Buena, 2-1, in overtime. Trent Canter scored the game-winner.
Cape Express Scores
In girls’ U-8, the Showstoppers met Washington Township. Reagan Gittle, Grace Murphy and Antonia Panico led the Showstoppers.
The U-10 Surf handled Hainesport. Keira Schmidt, Ciara Dimauro, Bryn Dougherty, Kiara Soto and McKenna Gregory led the Surf.
The U-12 Comets dropped a 2-0 decision to Washington United. Stephanie Carey, Anna Bond, Rayonna Wagner, Riley Fisher and Chloe Lawler led the Comets.
The U-12 Comets tied Marlton, 1-1. Brynn Bock, Jordan Dougherty, Kate Herlihy, Isabella Aftanis, Stephanie Carey, Madison Haring and Carmen Licata led the Comets.
The U-14 Stingrays defeated, Indian Mills, 2-0. Marissa Giancola, Alyssa Jones, Katie Campbell, Nadne Coyle and Winter Favre led he Stingrays.
In boys’ action, the U-8 Riptides battled Barrington. Simon Hardin, Matthew Radzieta, Colin Jastremski, Brandyn Acevedo and Sam Ritti led the Riptides.
The U-9 Blitz met Mainland United. Evan Merritt, Devon Bock, Ryan Dougherty, Jimmy Kane and Danial Kotb led the Blitz.
The U-10 Union dropped a 3-2 decision to Logan United. Mace Fiorucci, Miguel Valencia, Chile Adams, Ryan Turner, Brendan Davis, Eddie Lords and Owen Ritti led the Union.
The U-12 Force were defeated by Pittsgrove, 6-0. Nicky Salfi, Trevor Tozour, and Jimmy Kurtz led the Force.
The U-12 United dropped a 4-1 decision to Medford. Reed Lindsay, T.J. Shoffler, and Donovan Richardson led the United.
In third round State Cup action, the United dropped a 1-0 decision to Union. Zach Dittus, Reed Lindsay, Max Gilbert, T.J. Shoffler, Colby Watts, Gavin Quinn, Dono Richardson, Sergio Miller, and Braiden Scarpa led the United.
The U-13 Railhawks defeated Mount Laurel, 4-2. Owen Carlson, Jaxon Tomlin, Ethan Stokes, Brendon Bartha, Sean Dougherty and Todd Reimet led the Railhawks.
