Girls’ Soccer
In Oct. 27 action, Ocean City defeated Oakcrest, 2-1. Ashley Edgell scored the game-winner. Veronica Garcia also scored.
Middle Township stopped Vineland, 3-0. Jenifer McCann scored two goals. Allison Hunter also scored.
Wildwood downed Gloucester City, 5-0. Mackenzie McCracken and Jillian Freeman scored two goals each. Holly Golato also scored.
In Oct. 28 games, Wildwood defeated Cape May Tech, 2-0. Jillian Freeman and Mackenzie McCracken each scored and assisted.
Lower downed ACIT, 4-0. Madie Gibson scored all four goals.
In Oct. 29 play, Mainland edged Middle, 1-0.
In Oct. 30 action, Gloucester Catholic whipped Wildwood, 7-0. Leishly Reyes stopped 12 shots.
Mainland edged Lower, 1-0, in double overtime. Lizzy Sulecki saved 20 shots.
Boys’ Soccer
In Oct. 27 games, Atlantic City edged Wildwood Catholic, 4-3. Chris Roach, Jared Wallace and Roakim Coyle scored.
Ocean City topped EHT, 1-0, in double overtime. Kyle Millar scored the game-winner.
Oakcrest defeated Lower, 5-0.
In Oct. 28 play, Wildwood topped Cape May Tech, 5-3. Jared Irwin scored a hat trick. Will Helm and Valentine Rodriguez also scored.
St. Augustine defeated Middle, 2-1. Joe Fala scored.
In Oct. 29 action, Middle defeated Mainland, 2-1, in double overtime. Joe Fala scored both goals.
In Oct. 30 games, Mainland stopped Lower, 2-0. Logan Spicer halted 17 shots.
Gloucester City edged Wildwood, 3-2. Jared Irwin and Mike Juarez scored.
In Oct. 31 contests, Ocean City edged Middle, 1-0. Nik Anagnou had five saves.
Cedar Creek downed Wildwood, 4-1. Jared Irwin scored. Rick Amado stopped 14 shots.
Holy Spirit defeated Cape May Tech, 7-0.
Field Hockey
In Oct 30 action, Ocean City dominated Mainland, 8-0. Lauren McNally scored three goals while Rialee Allen and Jordan Allegretto scored twice. Maria Farnan also scored.
Lower toppled Cedar Creek, 4-2. Carissa Scott scored twice. Olivia Levin and Brianne Nicholas also scored.
Football
In Oct. 31 games, Holy Spirit defeated Lower, 42-0.
Cedar Creek defeated Middle, 42-0.
In Nov. 1 action, Maple Shade stopped Wildwood, 36-20. Abdiel Richards scored on runs of 50, 60 and three yards, respectively. He also scored a on two-point conversion.
Cape Express Scores
Boys’ games dominated Cape Express soccer last week. The U-8 Hammerheads met Lumberton. Joe Berrodin, Donnie Nelson, Philip Woodrow, Kelan Miller, Noah Stokes and Wyatt Hand led the team.
The U-8 Riptide battled Barrington. Sam Ritti, Connor Rowlands, Bryson Keating-Horin, and Colin Jastremski led the way.
The U-9 Breakers tangled with Cherry Hill. Kai Lindsay, Noah Plenn, Sawyer Lomax, Evan Shoffler, and Ethan Morford led the Breakers.
The U-11 Union knotted Swedsboro, 1-1. Ryan Turner, Miguel Valencia, Chile Adams, Owen Ritti, Austin Carr, T.J. Sarmiento and Brendan Davis led the Union.
The U-12 Force defeated Medford, 1-0. Eurbey Sanchez, Trevor Tozour, Antonio Melendez, Steven Gittle, and John Leahy led the Force.
The U-12 United dropped a 1-0 decision to Upper Township. Reed Lindsay, Zack Dittus, Gavin Quinn and Dono Richardson led Unite.
