Baseball
In May 5 action, Ocean City overwhelmed St. Augustine, 10-0. Sean Mooney tossed the complete game and contributed three hits.
Middle downed Lower, 9-8. Erik Arenberg smacked a bases-loaded triple. Eric Goss had three hits for Lower.
Cape May Tech defeated Wildwood Catholic, 4-1. Hunter Tomlin drilled two doubles. Tyler Norris had two hits for Catholic.
In May 6 games, Middle swept Pleasantville, 16-0 and 16-1, respectively. Erik Arenberg recorded his 100th career hit among the seven he had on the day.
Penns Grove defeated Wildwood, 3-1. Kevin Wright had three hits.
Wildwood whipped Lower, 10-0. Olaf Feria and James Grauel had three runs batted in apiece.
In May 7 games, Wildwood Catholic defeated Bridgeton, 10-6. Joe Alosi doubled in two runs.
Ocean City defeated Vineland, 7-2. Zach Altieri struck out eight.
Lower downed Cape May Tech, 10-6. Eric Goss had two hits, including a double.
In May 8 action, Lower defeated Pleasantville, 9-3. Eric Goss hit a two-run homer.
ACIT defeated Cape Tech, 12-5. Kyle Eppright drove in three runs.
Ocean City downed Oakcrest, 4-3. Jeremy West plated the game-winner.
In May 9 games, Wildwood toppled St. Pius X, 4-1. Chris Mormile tossed a one-hitter.
St. Pius X defeated Lower, 7-5. Eric Goss doubled.
Cape May Tech defeated GCIT, 9-2. Chris Russ doubled and tripled.
Softball
In May 5 action, Middle overwhelmed Lower, 25-5. Sophia Ellis ripped five hits. Ariel Magee had two hits for Lower.
In May 6 games, Atlantic City outscored Lower, 15-12.
Middle pounded Bridgeton, 21-2. Julianna Garcia doubled twice.
In May 7 contests, Middle swept a twin-bill from Pleasantville, 25-0 and 21-0, respectively. Taylor Franchville connected on her 100th career hit. Madeline Ellis homered in game two.
Highland stopped Wildwood, 10-0. Patrice Cafiero struck out two.
Lower doubled up Cape May Tech, 8-4. Carissa Scott hit a three-run homer. Marissa Mulville had two hits for the Hawks.
Wildwood Catholic outscored Bridgeton, 13-5. Gia Tammaro homered. Mia Capozzoli had three hits.
In May 8 contests, Middle stopped OLMA, 15-2. Madeline Ellis and Nicole fox each smacked three hits.
St. Joseph’s defeated Wildwood Catholic, 10-1. Lauren Moretti drilled a triple.
Pennsville defeated Wildwood, 17-3. Claudia Melchiore homered.
In May 9 games, Teaneck stopped Wildwood, 17-5. Claudia Melchiorre doubled.
Bergen Tech edged Cape May Tech, 3-1. Jackie Schmucker and Jaclyn Gehring both had two hits.
Ocean City defeated Teaneck, 11-5. Brooke Segich tripled.
Boys’ Lacrosse
In May 6 contests, OC toppled Mainland, 9-4. Mark Kolmer recorded 23 saves.
Middle downed Lower, 6-4. Jack Denis scored three goals. Cole Blackley scored twice for Lower.
In May 8 games, OC defeated EHT, 5-4. Kyle Conrad connected for four goals.
Oakcrest defeated Lower, 8-6. Jame Cella stopped 14 shots.
Middle defeated Moorestown Friends, 13-6. Jack Denis and Nik Anagnou scored four goals each.
In May 9 action, Ocean City stopped Northern Burlington, 10-8. Dylan Fahy scored three goals.
Girls’ Lacrosse
In May 6 action, Middle defeated Lower, 20-4. Bridget Ruskey recorded her 200th goal in just her sophomore season.
Teammate Allison Hunter, also a sophomore, scored her 100th career goal.
Ocean City overwhelmed Mainland, 17-4. Lexie Sharp scored five goals.
In May 8 games, Ocean City defeated EHT, 19-14. Lexie Sharp, Mikayla Gillespie, Rialee Allen and Kristi Rohrer scored four goals each.
Oakcrest defeated Lower, 17-10. Madie Gibson scored four goals.
Middle stopped OLMA, 18-4. Bridget Ruskey scored six goals.
