GALLOWAY – In taking another step in building upon their commitment to growing the game, providing an incredible experience, evolving their charitable mission and developing the complete student-athlete, the HEADstrong Lacrosse Club of South Jersey has named well known South Jersey lacrosse figure Chris Boyle as General Manager.
Over the past decade Boyle has led several initiatives to grow the game in the region and strongly believes that the HEADstrong Lacrosse Club is the perfect concept to engage the growing South Jersey community. Boyle possesses an unyielding passion for the game and a relentless commitment to seeing lacrosse thrive in the region. In addition to his role with the HEADstrong Lacrosse Club of South Jersey, Boyle also serves as a coach, director and league representative. Chris has been instrumental in establishing the Jersey Shore Youth Lacrosse League in Lower Township, building a “feeder program” for players to advance to the high school and collegiate level. In 2015, Boyle was named head coach of Lower Cape May Regional High School.
Boyle is the perfect complement to Stockton and HEADstrong’ s X’s and O’s mastermind Kevin Zulauf. The new layer will allow Zulauf to focus exclusively on player skill development with Boyle managing player/family relations, communication, annual curriculum, community service and mission.
Boyle is a former DIII All-American who captured a DIII National Championship in 1991 and was named a team captain in 1992 at Salisbury University. In 2015, Zulauf was named Skyline Conference Coach of the Year. Together, the duo of Boyle and Zulauf are determined to grow HEADstrong Lacrosse into the premier lacrosse club for players living in the South Jersey shore points. Boyle is very enthusiastic about the programs potential in the region.

The HEADstrong Lacrosse Club of South Jersey will be hosting fall evaluations Sept. 11 at the Stockton Athletic Complex located on the campus of Stockton University at 190 Pomona Road, Galloway, NJ 08240. Evaluations will be held for fall and winter sessions. Graduating classes of 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019 will be evaluated from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Preliminary registration is encouraged but walk-up registration will be accepted. A registration fee of $27 per player will apply. It is encouraged that players arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the evaluations. The proceeds from evaluations will be utilized to support the program and families from the region affected by cancer. Full equipment and mouth guards are required. Register Now.
