COURT HOUSE – Cross country runners from Cape May Tech, Lower Cape May, Middle Township, Wildwood and Wildwood Catholic participated in the Big Five Cross Country Championships on Sept. 28 at the County Park.
Christina Adams of Lower Cape May won the girls race while Leo Zaccaria of Cape May Tech won the boys race. Both seniors finished way ahead of their opponents.
Wildwood Catholic teammates Joelle Osborne and Erin Connelly took second and third, respectively, in the girls’ race. For the boys’, Wildwood Catholic’s Chris Johnson placed second while Zeb Hinker of Lower Cape May rounded out the top three.
Both Crusaders’ teams won the overall team titles for the meet.
