Cape Express Scoring Wins

U-9 girls Tidal Waves battled the Pennsville Mean Machine with goals by Erin Connelly, Alyssa Jones and Alina Chiccarine. Tayanis Torres, Chiccarine and Jones assisted. Shannon Dilling, Joalis Rosario, and Julianna Roche led the defense. Stephanie Sawyer and Emma Stanford handled midfield. Gabrielle Masterson managed the goal.
U10 girls Tidal Wave took on the Logan Township Herricanes with strong goaltending from Maribeth Novsak and Karly Diguglielmo. Emma Carlson, Bailey Mericle, Olivia Nelson, Kerri Harrigan, Novsak, and Diguglielmo manned the defense. Noelle Johnson scored three goals while Marissa McGaffney and Alicia Forrest also found the net.
U-11 girls Bulldogs defeated the Logan Storm, 6-1. Jennifer McCann, Summer Sides, Andrea Sarmiento, Bridget Ruskey, and led the of-fense. Jordan Shelton, Kathryn Gimeno, Jennifer McCann and Cassie McTighe scored, Laura Dingler, Kelly Geary, Miranda Mangano, and Keani Hindle managed the defense.
U-13 girls Piranhas dropped a 1-0 decision to the Swedesboro Net Crushers. Sondra McNicholas, Erin Russkey, Taylor Brown, Sydney Wheaton and Olivia Rulon led the Piranhas.
The U14 girls Herricanes downed Westfield 1-0. Jen Hicks, Elise Smith, Elaina Nessler and Laura Miller managed the defense. Gabrielle Adams earned the shutout. Bethany Feuerstein scored for the winners.
U-8 boys Silver Streak flew with the Glassboro Falcons on goals by Vincent Wilson, Patrick Moore, Ed Proud and Matthew Vogdes and strong defense from John Carlson, Joe Baker and Jared Tricomy.
U-9 boys Silver Bullet met the South Jersey Elite Panthers as Bullet Brayden Carr’s free kick was the lone score for Cape Express. Zach Waldron, Butch Rulon and Tyler Mericle patrolled the defensive end. Domenic DeGeorge, Sean Geary, Jack McNeal and Gavin Seddon led the offense. Mike Sharkey and Sean Zellers were in goal.
U-10 boys Cyclones met the Washington Township Wolverines. Jay DeVico, Jimmy Bright, and Ryan Legler scored for the Cyclones. Dimi Terenik and Tony Genaro had assists. Raymond Wilson and Nik Anagnou were in goal.
U-10 boys Tsunami challenged the Vineland Arsenal. Christian Rafter, Mike Roselli, Reese Waddington, and Anthony Zampirri led the offense. Hawkins Heitmann, Trent Canter and Brendan Forrest scored for Tsunami. Will Helm, Nick Mallous, and Zack Thomas managed the defense while Andrew Cervantes played the pipes.
U-11 boys Derailers dropped a 2-1 State Cup contest to Ocean Township. Sean McMullen scored for the Derailers.
The Derailers dropped a 4-2 decision to TBAA. Joey Fala and Matt McHale scored.
U-13 boys Avalanche knotted the Audabon Smashers, 0-0. Eric Breder, Casey McInnis, and Luke Hallman manned the defense.
U-13 boys Blizzard edged the Moorestown Wild, 3-2. Eddie Slavinskas and Andrew Pfeiffer scored for the winners. Matt Waldron and Scott Kurkowski led the defense.
