4-H horse club members are seeking tournament players for their sixth annual golf tournament fundraiser, Sunday, April 26, at the Avalon Golf Club, in Swainton.
Tournament registration begins at 10:30 a.m., with the shotgun kickoff at 12:30 p.m. The entry fee of $90 per person or $350 per foursome includes green fees, carts, registration gifts, door prizes, and buffet dinner.
The tournament features Longest Drive, Closest to Pin, and Putting Contests as well as a Hole-in-One car sponsored by Kindle Ford. Prizes will be awarded to the top three tournament teams and the top co-ed team.
4-H members are pleased to report that golfer fees have not been raised since the tournament’s inception six years ago.
Proceeds from the tournament are used to fund state and national 4-H participation, 4-H horse educational activities and the 4-H Memorial Scholarship Program. Donations are tax deductible.
