Wildwood Offers Free Rabies Clinic

By Herald Staff

WILDWOOD — This city’s annual free animal vaccination clinic has been scheduled.
According to a release, this is the primary animal vaccination clinic for the cities of Wildwood and West Wildwood. All animals must be under the control of their owners, who are responsible for their pet’s behavior.
Vaccinations are required in order to obtain a dog license in all jurisdictions.
Rabies, which was once fairly well contained in our immediate community, has been making inroads into our area due to the many stray cats and dogs, the release stated.
This program is open to everyone who wishes to protect their animals. You do not need to be a resident of Wildwood to participate.
The clinic will be held at the city’s Public Works Building at Schellenger and Hudson avenues on April 24 between 2 and 3 p.m.
