NORTH WILDWOOD — Wildwood Mayor Peter Byron and North Wildwood Mayor Patrick Rosenello announced updates to the previously enacted restrictions that have been placed on Short Term Rentals, Beaches, Boardwalks, Bike Paths and Seawalls in the Wildwoods.
In an April 6 order, the municipalities closed their respective boardwalks, beaches, bike paths and seawall as well as placed limits on short-term rentals.
At this time the cities of Wildwood and North Wildwood are announcing modifications to these orders. These new orders replace and supersede the previous orders and will be in place beginning April 23.
It is the intent of the governing bodies of Wildwood and North Wildwood to institute restrictions and orders in conjunction with COVID 19 in two-week increments moving forward.
These two-week increments coincide with the regularly scheduled meetings of the respective governing bodies and provide flexible planning in a fluid and rapidly changing situation.

o Rentals to employee of essential businesses seeking housing in conjunction with their official duties.
Public Beaches
Continuing through May 7, 2020, sunbathing, sitting in chairs, lying on blankets, organized sports and any groups
of people are hereby prohibited.

o Walking, jogging, biking, fishing and surfing are permitted as long as social distancing is maintained.

All restrictions are lifted.
