The grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St., Cape May became a winter wonderland after Santa Claus flipped the switch to illuminate the star-topped tree Nov 17. Hundreds joined the pre-holiday event, snapped photos of children with Santa in the gazebo, toured the mansion, and the decorated Carriage House.
Visitors were invited to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items to donate to the Cape May Community Food Bank and to stop by the Toys for Tots table to help support that cause.
