The Huddle Bunch Carolers

Glowing with accomplishment
still wrapped in winter’s chill
The Carolers are done their caroling
~spreading Love and Christmas cheer along their way 
Now inside
they huddle close in the welcomed warmth
 a snug bunch of old friends
Tentatively sipping hot mugs of cocoa
while watching the chilling frost
slowly climb and coat each window
as the thought of far away
warm exotic places
takes its place in their heads
. . .pushing aside the cold reality
of their view. . .
Yet still
down deep inside
the happiness of this moment
Sings Merry Christmas to everyone
