Stone Harbor Sells Beach Tag Gifts

By Herald Staff

STONE HARBOR – Forget the sugarplums. Today’s kids and teens have visions of surfboards, sandcastles and suntans dancing in their heads. Luckily, the Borough of Stone Harbor has made it a breeze to give the gift of summer on the beach to your loved ones this holiday season, thanks to special holiday themed beach tags.
Each holiday beach tag is presented in a festive foil box trimmed in a ribbon of red or green. They make ideal stocking stuffers and a great reminder of days spent on Stone Harbor’s award-winning beaches. Best of all, as the weather warms up, your holiday gift tag is exchangeable for an official 2010 season beach tag, available beginning in April.
What other gift will can give the recipient countless hours of fun in the surf and sun next year? Stone Harbor’s holiday themed beach tags are just $19 each which includes the gift box. An additional $2 gift wrapping fee benefits the Jersey Cape Diagnostic Training and Opportunity Center, which employs individuals with disabilities in Cape May Court House.
The holiday beach tags are available for purchase daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Borough Hall located at 9508 Second Avenue. They will also be sold at the Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce office and various businesses during the holiday festivities on Thanksgiving weekend.
Solve your holiday shopping dilemma and give a gift of summer fun on the beach at Stone Harbor.
