Sea Isle holds Italian-Columbus celebration

By On Deck Staff

Sea Isle City will hold its Italian Festival Celebration and Columbus Day Parade, Oct. 10 from 1-8 p.m.
The festival is sponsored by Kix-McNutley’s and LaCosta Lounge, and includes local vendors selling food, beverages, clothing, crafts, and Italian memorabilia.
There will be musical entertainment throughout the day and an appearance by Jerry Blavat. The Cento Corporation will also have their hospitality truck at the festival, featuring special items and cookware.
The annual Columbus Day Parade coincides with the festival, beginning 2 p.m. at the Italian-American Club, LaRosa Way and Cini Ave., ending at Kix-McNutley’s, 63rd St. and Landis Ave.
The parade will feature many local Italian residents and business owners, and the Ocean City High School band will be providing music for the event.
