What is autonomic dysfunction? After my advertisement in the Herald, many people asked this question and wondered, “How can I find out more about it?”
Autonomic dysfunction develops when the nerves of the autonomic nervous system are damaged. The autonomic nervous system is the involuntary part of everyone’s neurological make-up and manages just about every system in the body. When the autonomic nervous system is imbalanced, there is a reason.
As of now, Cape Heart Clinic is the only center in Cape May County to have an “ANSAR Machine” which diagnoses autonomic dysfunction. ANSAR testing is a painless, non-invasive and effective diagnostic tool that determines how well your autonomic nervous system is functioning. ANSAR testing can detect many conditions in the early stages, when treatment can be most effective, including:
Cardiology – congestive heart failure, post MI, post heart attack, angina, cardio myopathy, hypertension.
Diabetes – autonomic neuropathy, renal involvement, gastroparesis, peripheral circulatory disorder.
Endocrinology – thyroid disorder, menopause, premature menopausal symptoms.
Pulmonary – asthma, sleep apnea, emphysema.
Internal Medicine – morbid obesity, anxiety, bipolar disease. depression, IBS, post-traumatic stress syndrome.
Over the past few years, we have used differed pharmacology and non-pharmacology methods to improve patient conditions. This is the perfect combination of East and West “Indian” medicine.
Using in-house, inexpensive technology, we have reduced admission to the hospital, and in 2014, I had a 0 percent mortality rate in the hospital.
If you have questions or need to make an appointment, please contact our office at (609) 465-7517. We are accepting new patients. We are located at 2 Village Dr., Cape May Court House. For more information, visit www.capeheartclinic.com.
