County Rolls Up Sleeves for Free Flu Shots

By Al Campbell

COURT HOUSE — Several thousand Cape May County residents lined up on Bayberry Drive early on Oct. 28 to get their free flu shots at Kindle Auto Plaza. The clinic will remain open until 2 p.m.
According to county Health Officer Kevin Thomas who attended the event, over 1,200 persons had received their vaccination as of 10:30 a.m.
There was a line on Bayberry Drive earlier in the day, but mid-morning crowds were smaller, thanks, in part to more volunteers to administer the shots, he said.
A second free flu shot clinic will be held Nov. 18 at the same location.
