County Clerk’s Office Closed March 17-31, Possibly Longer Due to COVID-19

COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Clerk’s Office will be closed to the public from March 17 through March 31, 2020 and possibly beyond that date due to emergency proclamations in place in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to a release, the Cape May County Clerk’s Office will be staffed internally to conduct normal business operations during this time.  The Sstaff anticipates that necessary services may be completed via telephone, internet and regular mail.
Deliveries of documents by courier or in person are directed to our 7 N. Main St.,  Court House front entrance. 
The vestibule doors will be opened during regular hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Passport applicants, notaries public and couples requesting marriage ceremonies are asked to call for a future appointment.
Primary Election candidates for county offices are requested to call ahead for Primary Election petition filing.  Primary election petitions are due on or before Monday, March 30 by 4:00 p.m.
Emergency situations will be handled on a case by case basis.
